My kids are able to make their own. I also like that it’s not super loud like I assumed it would be. It’s not big and bulky, and it fits on my countertop perfectly. I did however, end up returning the original one because I got the wrong model.

This makes the smoothest plushies and smoothies ever! So far my favorite thing to make has been chocolate milkshakes using Borden chocolate milk. It is sooo smooth and creamy! As long as your drinks aren’t room temperature, it doesn’t take super long to make. The colder the better! It has a cleaning cycle as well but you definitely need to take the main clear piece off to clean deeper because you are only supposed to fill to the max fill line which doesn’t reach the top. It was a lot of trial and error to get our drinks just right, definitely had a couple of mishaps that resulted in Dr Pepper leaking absolutely everywhere. Make sure everything is locked and in place or you will quickly find yourself in a delicious disaster. First of all, I will explain this is an awesome machine for parties. It is not excessively loud and you can keep it running and add more ingredients to the top as you go. Our first try was for a book club in which I added a full bottle of rose wine and two small cans of pineapple juice. Perfection. So easy to make and when it gets low, just add another bottle and two more small cans of pineapple juice and you will have it ready in about 30 minutes each batch… Well made. Actually this is great for adults and kids. I can’t believe how easy it was to set up and get going; you just need a little patience at first to cool the unit down after plugging in, but it was ready to go out of the box. Once it was ready, it was simple to add a combination of gatorade and strawberry juice to make a delicious slushy – it was like a soft/watery slushie after about 15 minutes and was fully ready in 20-25. Very easy to add more liquid as you go to keep it going.

This is a very well made machine, solid, heavy, yes mostly plastic but the internals seem well made. It is quiet and smooth in operation and dead simple to use and clean up.

It’s also really easy to adjust setting for different consistencies. You can make it thick enough to use a spoon or thin enough to easily use a straw with any liquid. Highly recommended. – Tim H

It came with easy to follow instructions, and it was easy to clean. Unfortunately, I lost my salt shaker. I blamed my wife, but ultimately, I don’t think there was anyone to blame but me. Fortunately, we were able to hang on, due to the tasty drinks we mixed up in the Frozen Concoction Maker.

It’s only been me at the moment and I can’t drink a blender full so I put the excess into a container in the freezer for another day. It’s still good when I take it out. A little recomendation is, read carfully the instructions to use……
We buy it to make some mix drinks frozen/slushie..
We read to many people saying it do not work but if you read the instructions is really easy and ir work wonderfull…. My family love it to made mix drinks. Of course you need to wait almost 10 minutes but after that the machine it work so good im so happy with this purchase. – John lee soto

You definitely need to make sure you have enough “salt” added to the ice container. Otherwise you will be sitting around for hours wondering “whats taking so long?”. I like the machine. But it only makes upwards to 32 oz of slushie. It would help if you use smaller cups around 8oz to be able to share with more people. You will use up nearly the entire small bottle of icee syrup. I would suggest you buy the larger bottles as it will be gone before you know it. I am very happy and my kids loved it. Definitely a pretty cool gift and i will put it to good use during the summer hot weather. – Sean B.

After the initial excitement the kids are done with it. They like the slush made from juice, but not as much as the actual thing from ice cream shops (probably with a lot more sugar). I’ve been using it daily though. Found out you can turn pretty much everything into a slush. Even soy milk lol. If it’s sugar free you just need to add a teaspoon of sugar (no artificial). If you don’t stir enough though the liquid tends to freeze solid on the wall and it’s hard to scrape. Overall I still love it. Definitely go with jumbo size so you have the extra room to stir without spilling. – Amy
